The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) Gauteng Provincial Delegation has called for urgent corrective action and strengthened accountability in the delivery of public infrastructure in Gauteng. This follows oversight visits to seven projects as part of the 2026 Provincial Week report-back programme. The delegation presented its draft report after engagements with provincial leadership, including Premier Panyaza Lesufi and Speaker Morakane Mosupyoe. The programme assessed progress on commitments from previous oversight visits in 2024 and 2025.
