The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has warned members of the public against unauthorized recruitment links and messages circulating on social media and other online platforms. In a press statement signed by the Head, Press and Public Relations, Ibraheem Zakariyya, on Friday, the Commission urged prospective applicants to verify recruitment information through its official website and authorized communication channels before applying. The Commission said members of the public should not click on unsolicited recruitment links, submit personal information, or make payments through messages circulated by individuals, WhatsApp groups, blogs, social media accounts, or unofficial websites claiming to represent the FCSC. It explained that recruitment into the Federal Civil Service was a regulated process, noting that appointments to posts graded GL.07–17 were made by the Commission as vacancies arose.
