Four officers of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, were reportedly killed in an ambush by suspected criminals in Akure North Local Government Area. The agency confirmed that two personnel died in the attack, which occurred while the officers were leaving their operational base. The spokesperson stated that the officers put up a brave resistance but paid the ultimate price in the line of duty. The agency has vowed to track down the killers.
