Ken Griffin says Citadel has shed 80% of the risk from the Situational Awareness portfolio it bought

Ken Griffin, founder of Citadel, has announced that the hedge fund has removed approximately 80% of the risk from the Situational Awareness portfolio it acquired. Citadel purchased $16 billion of investments from Situational Awareness after the latter's collapse in July. The firm's flagship fund, Citadel Wellington, gained nearly 6% in July, according to a client letter.
