According to the latest Afrobarometer survey, more than half of young Africans have considered emigrating, primarily to seek better work and economic opportunities. The findings were discussed at a #VoicesAfrica youth webinar co-hosted by Afrobarometer and the Nuru Trust Network to commemorate International Youth Day. Youth advocates and researchers examined what young Africans' migration aspirations reveal about employment, opportunity, and governance, and urged stakeholders to focus on making staying, moving, or returning a real option.
