The Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament, Jacob Marksons Oboth, advised graduands to embrace practical innovation, integrity, and enterprise job creation rather than relying solely on paper qualifications. He made the remarks at the 16th graduation ceremony of Makerere Business Institute, where 564 students graduated with diplomas and certificates. Oboth highlighted challenges in Uganda’s education sector and workforce readiness. He urged graduates to use their education to create opportunities.
