The Coalition of Public Interest Lawyers and Advocates (COPA) has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Nigeria Police Force to investigate and prosecute those involved in alleged incitement and killings linked to the Osun State governorship election. COPA coordinator Ajibola Bello stated that the matter concerns the sanctity of human life and the integrity of the electoral system. The coalition referenced videos that allegedly contained statements capable of inciting violence.
