The Kaduna State Police Command rescued 75 kidnapped victims, including men, women, and children, from a forest near Birnin Gwari. The victims, identified as Fulani travellers, were abducted while travelling in commercial buses on Wednesday. The abductors, armed with AK-47 rifles, had concealed the victims in a cave in a mountainous area. Police acted on information from the National Union of Road Transport Workers and a crack team from the Birnin Gwari Area Command carried out the rescue.
