The Anambra State Police Command has uncovered the circumstances surrounding the murder of 56-year-old Mr. Kelechi Madu in Awkuzu, Oyi Local Government Area. Police investigation revealed that Madu's death was plotted by his friend, Mr. Ifeanyi Nwankwo, who allegedly confessed to engaging two others to execute the act after duping Madu of money for nonexistent property. In a separate incident, a community leader in Nri Community, Oba Maduka Arubaluezeama, was shot dead.
