President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to the government and people of Sokoto State following a boat accident that resulted in the deaths of more than 50 individuals. He directed the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to collaborate with the Sokoto State Government to prevent future occurrences and enforce waterway safety standards strictly.
