Gunmen have invaded several communities in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State, abducting worshippers after Friday prayers. The attacks occurred in Dekara, Gidan Zana, Sabon Gida, and Masaka communities, according to residents and a federal lawmaker. Some worshippers were attacked with machetes, and others escaped with injuries. The exact number of abducted persons is yet to be confirmed.
