24 ISWAP family members surrender as rival factions clash in Borno

The Nigerian Army reported that 24 family members of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists surrendered to troops in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State. The surrender occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday, according to an operational report. The group fled from the Gasuwa and Yaganari terrorist enclaves following clashes between rival factions within the terrorist organization. The surrendered individuals have been profiled and documented by the troops for further action.
