24 relatives of ISWAP terrorists surrender to troops in Borno

The Nigerian Army announced that 24 family members of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists surrendered to troops in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State. The surrender took place at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, according to an operational report. The group fled from the Gasuwa and Yaganari terrorist enclaves following clashes between rival factions within the terrorist organization. In a separate operation, troops of 212 Battalion, supported by the Civilian Joint Task Force, apprehended two suspects during a raid in the Bewac general area.
