An unknown number of worshippers have been abducted from the Central Mosque in Dekara town, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State. The attack occurred during Friday prayers when terrorists, in large numbers, struck, firing sporadically before taking some worshippers into the forest. A resident, speaking anonymously, said the LGA recorded various security incidents on Friday. The exact number of abducted worshippers has not been confirmed.
