Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has lifted the employment ban and recruited 19 TechRise graduates into the state's civil service. The governor directed the Head of Service to work with the Chief Information Officer to identify ICT competency gaps across ministries, departments, and agencies that the graduates could fill. This move is aimed at strengthening the state's digital capacity and providing employment opportunities for tech-savvy youth.
