The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Taraba State chapter, has stated that persistent violent conflict is the reason the state remains underdeveloped and stagnated after 34 years of creation. This was contained in a communique issued at the end of a three-day Ministers of the Gospel Conference themed 'THE ROLES OF THE CHURCH'. The conference highlighted the negative impact of conflict on the state's development.
