A dispatch rider died in a multiple road traffic accident involving two trucks at Ijesha, inward Mile 2, Lagos. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed the incident in a statement by its Permanent Secretary, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu. Preliminary investigations revealed that reckless driving and wrongful road use by the truck drivers caused the accident. The FAW truck hit the Iveco truck while both drivers struggled for right of way, and the Iveco truck subsequently struck the dispatch rider.
