Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has explained why he is not the Director General of President Bola Tinubu's 2027 campaign. Wike stated that he is not a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and would not risk losing his home state like previous campaign chairmen did. He made these remarks after inspecting roads in Abuja. The Presidency had earlier announced Senator Abdulaziz Yari as the campaign DG.
