The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five suspected telecommunication vandals in Ibeju-Lekki and recovered a truckload of stolen iron rods. The suspects, identified as Mohammed Shaibu, Musa Zakari, Abdullahi Bala, Salisu Musa, and Yahuza Bala, were allegedly caught stealing iron poles meant for telecommunication mast construction. Police spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi confirmed the arrest, stating that the suspects were taken into custody and an investigation has commenced at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba. Efforts are ongoing to arrest other suspects who fled the scene.
