Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, has told the FBI that citing 'danger to lives' cannot justify withholding records on President Tinubu. The FBI had filed a motion to submit ex parte in camera declarations on why it withheld information about its investigative records relating to drug trafficking allegations against Tinubu. Atiku's statement, issued by his aide Phrank Shaibu, argued that ordinary Nigerians are already paying with their lives for the President's economic policies, making the FBI's justification untenable.
