The Kano Emirate has introduced a drug test requirement for anyone seeking to ascend a traditional throne in the emirate. The District Head of Dambatta, Dr. Mansur Adnan, disclosed this during a sensitisation campaign on the dangers of drug abuse and trafficking. He said the measure is necessary due to the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals and society. The campaign brought together district and ward heads from Dambatta Local Government Area, with the NDLEA Zonal Commander also in attendance.
