The Benue State Police Command has launched a fresh campaign against cultism, violence, and drug abuse among youths, as part of activities for the 2026 National Youth Day. The initiative was unveiled during a stakeholders' youth dialogue that included student unions and youth associations. The event also marked the kick-off of the Office of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) in Benue. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Peter Aondongu, stated that the dialogue aimed to foster open engagement between police and youths.
