The Nigerian Auctioneers Association (NAA) has cautioned government institutions against violating laws governing the auction of forfeited assets. The association stated that only licensed auctioneers are legally empowered to auction assets on behalf of the government. NAA President Alhaji Musa Kurra warned government agencies against dealing with individuals posing as the association's president. He asserted that his term runs until 2027 and that anyone claiming to lead the association is an impostor.
