Four members of the same family have died after consuming a meal in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State. Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, announced the incident in a statement on Saturday, noting that the government has ordered a comprehensive investigation. The family members died after eating a local delicacy known as Amala. Governor Ahmed Ododo has directed the Commissioner for Health to investigate the circumstances, focusing on possible food poisoning or contamination.
