A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr Ken Imansuagbon, has endorsed the party's presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar's pledge to restore petrol subsidy if elected in 2027. Imansuagbon argued that the removal of fuel subsidy has impoverished Nigerians and worsened inflation. He described criticism from the presidency and APC as misplaced and politically motivated. The statement was issued in Benin City on Saturday.
