A committee established by Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo to investigate the funding and ownership of the Museum for West African Art (MOWAA) has submitted its report, indicting the administration of former Governor Godwin Obaseki. The committee, chaired by former Governor Adams Oshiomhole, found that Obaseki's administration spent N3.8 billion on the project. The report also noted that the museum's name was changed multiple times for personal reasons. Governor Okpebholo's Chief Press Secretary, Dr. Patrick Akhere Ebojele, released a statement highlighting these findings.
