Troops in Anambra State conducted a raid on strongholds of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its security wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN). During the operation, one suspect was killed, and weapons and materials for making improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were recovered. The military reported that blood stains were observed along the withdrawal route, indicating that some fleeing suspects may have been wounded.
