Edo State political activist Gordie Aigbodion has condemned the recent resignation of former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Blessing Agbebaku, who stepped down to avoid impeachment. Agbebaku was replaced by Hon Yekini Idaiye, representing Akoko-Edo I. In a statement, Aigbodion described the resignation as a 'slap' on the people of Owan West, alleging a deliberate plan to marginalize the Owan Nation despite their contributions to the state's development. He claimed that the votes of the Owan people were being undermined by some individuals in authority.
