Suspected bandits kidnapped the traditional ruler of Igbesi town and other residents in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State. Additionally, a woman identified as Iya Ayoka, the first wife of the Baale of Dabu community, was abducted in Ifelodun Local Government Area. The attacks occurred despite the recent establishment of a Nigerian Army battalion in Omu-Aran. The victims were taken to an unknown destination, and no ransom demand has been made yet.
