Ebonyi LG Polls: APC sweeps All 13 chairmanship, 171 councillorship seats

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all 13 chairmanship and 171 councillorship seats in the Ebonyi State local government elections. The results were announced by the Chairman of the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission, Mr. Patrick Enyi, at the commission's office in Abakaliki. Among the winners was Mr. Osborn Umahi, son of the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, who emerged chairman-elect of Ohaozara Local Government Area. Other chairmanship winners include Mrs. Peace Agwu (Ishielu), Hon. Paul Ituma (Ohaukwu), and Friday Nwuhuo (Ezza North), among others.
