2027: Nwifuru will defeat opposition, says Nwebonyi

Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and representative of Ebonyi North Senatorial District, has declared that no opposition party can defeat Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in the 2027 governorship election. Nwebonyi attributed the governor's growing political support to his administration's achievements in infrastructure and human capital development. He spoke at his polling unit in Ebonyi Local Government Area after the local government elections. Nwebonyi described the voter turnout as encouraging and said it reflected growing support for the All Progressives Congress in the state.
