The Lagos Division of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, has set September 1, 2026, to rule on the bail application of Akinlawon Isaac Alani, a 78-year-old freight agent charged with alleged cocaine trafficking. Alani was arraigned by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The court's decision on bail is awaited.
