Heavy rainfall lasting over an hour caused the collapse of buildings in Gandun Sarki community, Malam Madori Local Government Area, Jigawa State, resulting in the deaths of two children aged five and eight. The children were sleeping when the house collapsed, and their father, Malam Samaila, confirmed the incident. Several other residents sustained injuries and were taken to Hadejia General Hospital for treatment. Reports indicate that more than 20 houses collapsed and many others were flooded in the affected area.
