The Adamawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to disaster risk reduction and emergency response during the flag-off of a flood disaster simulation exercise in Yola North. Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta urged participants to take the exercise seriously to improve coordination and preparedness. She also called on residents of flood-prone areas to heed early warnings and cooperate with responders. The exercise was supported by NEMA and the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency.
