Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), a Lagos-based rights group, has called on the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Joash Amupitan, to disclose and publish limits on political donations ahead of the 2027 general elections. The request was made through a Freedom of Information (FoI) request dated August 22, 2026, giving INEC seven days to comply.
