President Bola Tinubu has extended the tenures of the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abdulhamid Dembos, and the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ali Mohammed Ali, for another three years. The extension is effective from October 2026. President Tinubu urged the two chief executives to justify his confidence in them by continuing to demonstrate commitment to their organisations' mandates and the promotion of the government's Renewed Hope Agenda.
