Colleagues of veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, have expressed grief over his death at the age of 66. Hassan, who rose to prominence in the 1990s, was celebrated for his roles in Yoruba action and epic films such as Ogogo, Eegun Mogaji, and Igbekun. He was known for his commanding screen presence and dedication to promoting Yoruba culture through cinema. Renowned actor Jide Kosoko and TAMPAN President Bolaji Amusan, known as Mr Latin, paid tribute to him, noting his indelible mark on Yoruba cinema.
