The Nigeria Police Force has rescued 75 individuals who were abducted by armed kidnappers in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The victims, including men, women, and children, were kidnapped on August 19, 2026, while traveling in commercial buses. The attackers, armed with AK-47 rifles, forced the passengers into a forest and held them in a cave. The rescue operation was based on intelligence received from the National Union of Road Transport Workers, leading to the victims' release.
