Onitsha traders demand removal of Ogbogwu market caretaker committee

Traders at the Ogbogwu Drug Market in Onitsha, Anambra State, are demanding the removal of the market's caretaker committee chairman, Mr Ndubuisi Chukwuleta, and the conduct of an election for a new executive. The demand follows a shooting incident involving traders and policemen at Onitsha Bridgehead, where several people were injured. The traders are calling for a democratically elected leadership to replace the caretaker committee.
