Investors transacted N10.68 trillion in stocks on the Nigerian Exchange in the first seven months of 2026, a 126.01% year-on-year increase from N4.73 trillion in the same period of 2025. Domestic institutional investors accounted for N6.71 trillion, up 145.02% year-on-year, while retail investors traded N3.97 trillion, up 99.8%. The positive performance is attributed to stronger domestic participation and improving macroeconomic conditions.
