Troops of the Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have rescued six kidnapped victims and recovered N800,000 from terrorists in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State. The operation was conducted on Aug. 22 following a distress call about a kidnapping on Dandume-Sheme Road. The troops engaged the terrorists with superior firepower, forcing them to flee and abandon their captives. All six victims were rescued unharmed, and the recovered money was returned.
