The Kano Free Trade Zone has generated over N36 billion in customs revenue between January and August 2026 and created between 3,000 and 5,000 direct jobs. The Zone's Director, Solomon Matthew, disclosed that 87 operational enterprises have contributed to these achievements. The facility, which occupies 262,000 hectares, supports manufacturing, processing, and trading, and also facilitates technology transfer and foreign investment.
