2027: ADC’s Dino Melaye Heads to Court over Adedeji’s Role in Tinubu’s Campaign

Former Senator Dino Melaye has threatened legal action against the appointment of Zacch Adedeji, Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, as Deputy Director of Fundraising in President Tinubu's 2027 Presidential Campaign Council. Melaye, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, argues that Adedeji's role could create a conflict of interest. He stated he would approach the court on Monday to challenge the appointment.
