Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has expanded its free petroleum products delivery initiative to Kano, Imo, Anambra, and Nasarawa states, aiming to reduce distribution costs for independent marketers and potentially lower petrol prices for consumers. The initiative, which already covers Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, and Delta states, as well as Abuja, involves the refinery absorbing delivery costs to ease the financial burden on marketers. The Group Executive Director for Commercial Operations, Oil & Gas, WAEP and Fert, announced the expansion in a statement, and marketers have lauded the initiative for reducing distribution expenses and easing pressure on consumers.
