The National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Special Project Office, now under investigation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has been revealed to have operated publicly, organizing events and inviting prominent officials. The ICPC chairman stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ordered the arrest of its promoter, George Buchi Nwabueze, and the suspension of three permanent secretaries. The office allegedly listed serving and former government officials as coordinators and had representatives in the United States and China.
