Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Imo State rescued a kidnap victim and foiled a N15 million ransom demand, killing two suspects in the process. The victim, identified as Adibenma, was abducted at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, around Afor-Ogidi Market in Isiala Amaifeke community. The DSS acted on intelligence to locate the victim and neutralize the kidnappers. The operation underscores ongoing efforts to combat kidnapping in the region.
