Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Solomon Adeola, has expressed grief over the death of veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo. Adeola, also known as Yayi, recalled his efforts to support the actor's medical treatment before his death. Ogogo died on Sunday, August 23, 2026, aged 66, after battling stage-four cancer. In a tribute shared on Facebook on Monday, Adeola and his wife Temitope said they stood by Ogogo and his family throughout his illness and made efforts to ensure he received appropriate medical attention.
