Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has paid tribute to the late veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo. Sanwo-Olu remarked that through his numerous cinematic performances, Ogogo mirrored society, moulded character, and left a lasting impact on many generations of film lovers. The governor's comments came following the actor's death, which occurred on Sunday, August 23, 2026, after a battle with cancer. Ogogo was buried on Monday in Ilaro, Ogun State, according to Islamic rites.
