Africa's longest bridges are vital infrastructure linking cities and supporting trade. The 6th October Bridge in Cairo, at approximately 20.5 km, is the longest, followed by Nigeria's Third Mainland Bridge at 11.8 km. The Suez Canal Bridge in Egypt is also among the top five, with a length of about 3.9 km.
