The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has opened its online accreditation portal for media organisations seeking to cover the September 2026 rerun elections in selected constituencies. The accreditation process commenced on Monday, August 24, 2026, through the INEC Media Accreditation Portal (IMAP). The affected constituencies include Sakwa State Constituency in Bauchi State, Udu State Constituency in Delta State, and Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State. The portal will close at midnight on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with no extension, and accreditation will be conducted strictly online.
